Brand new cassette on a French label from this excellent “free metal duo”: massive ritual feel to the first side here, with what sounds like a Toshi Ichiyanagi opera or JA Seazer happening scored for throat-shredding vocals, fleets of devouring wolf calls, sheets of harsh, foggy feedback tones and martial machine gun percussion. Flip is even more bizarre with fast pugilistic rhythms and droning bottom end beneath almost Third Ear Band-style whistles and dulcimer phasing into almost an almost d-beat take on electronic Richard Youngs circa Festival. Great stuff.
